ECHO VI: A HERO'S JOURNEY
Our everyday lives are unsung hero’s journeys, yet they are, in every way, worth praising as some of the greatest epics in human history.
In this issue, we honor the epic in our ordinary lives by taking you through a hero’s journey. In “Call of the Sirens,” we explore how the arts lured our authors into the realm of imagination. In “The Underworld,” we see how they came of age while grappling with defied expectations and irretrievable loss. In “A Waltz with Venus,” we celebrate love as our authors express their deepest pains and affections. As this journey comes to an end and we return to where we started, we examine “On Uruk’s City Walls”—the arts, feminism, love, and our world—from a new perspective.
Let our journey begin.

ABOUT US
Echo emerged in 2019 from SSBS students passionate about providing a platform where ideas may collide. Now, it has evolved beyond a collection of articles and artwork—it's a reflection of the passion, talent, and spirit that make our school so special. With each piece submitted, we receive not just words or images, but a glimpse into the heart and soul of our community. The hard work of every contributor, from writers and artists to photographers and editors, is what gives life to these pages. We take Echo as an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and creativity that surround us every day.
